At Autism is the Norm, we strive to ensure that every child on the spectrum or who has been diagnosed with ADHD is safe at all times. Our organization understands the highs and lows that come with raising a child with special needs and our plan is to develop a plan of action for each family that is in a crisis situation including meltdowns, throwing objects, becoming aggressive, and engaging in harmful behaviors. In this program, we strive to connect families in crisis to phycologists, counselors, primary care physicians, and other practitioners that will work to reduce stressors and create a healthier and safer environment.
