At Autism is the Norm, we offer a range of programs to support our community, including food assistance, job training, and healthcare services. Our programs are designed to meet the unique needs of each individual or family we serve.
Planned initiatives include art and recreation programs, job readiness programs, a
community resource center, mental health safety support for families, reducing elopement in
the home, monthly virtual support groups, the Make a Friend Program, Mothers and
Caregivers Appreciation Program, Sibling Support Program, Special Moms Expecting
Program, Reducing Hunger Program, Back-to-School Program, Safety Advocacy, Drowning
Prevention Program, Parents in Grief Support Program, Autism Childcare Advocacy
Program, and the Crisis Control Program. Seasonal community outreach efforts such as
Christmas Giveaway Events, School Uniform Giveaways, and a Diaper Bank will further
provide direct assistance to families facing financial hardship.
